About me

After a rewarding year at the startup SafeAD, I returned to academia! I am currently a postdoctoral researcher working with Prof. Jörg Stückler at the University of Augsburg. I received my PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Tübingen. My research focuses on enabling robots to understand and interact with the real world by learning visual affordances. Currently, my work centers on federated learning, Vision-Language-Action/Navigation models, and world modeling for embodied intelligence. In the past, I have also worked on vision-based state estimation, object tracking, and motion prediction.

You can find my recent publications, projects and code release here.
